Characteristics of Intermet access as well as integrated approach to its design on the basis of microwave TV-information systems have been presented. Main parameters and circuitry of these systems elements have been described. A certain attention has been given to the problem of the development of integrated information networks on the basis of microwave systems, in particular on MITRIS.
